MISSION STATEMENT

 

Middle school is a time for adolescents to grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. It is a crucial period of both exploration and expression. I believe students are unique and creative individuals with their own special needs. I am a strong believer that students learn best when they become active participants in the learning process whether it is through self-discovery or cooperative learning. Learning needs to be enjoyable and meaningful. I believe in positive teacher attitude and a warm, supportive classroom environment. I personally enjoy making history come alive for my students and showing how meaningful it is to their own lives. As a role model, I will model what is expected of my students and guide them into making good choices academically, behaviorally, and socially.
