I have been teaching for several years and have had numerous experiences in different domains. To name a few, I have served as a resource teacher and trainer for the Anaheim City School District, and trained teachers through the Orange County Department of Education, the University of California, Irvine, and Chapman University. My educational experiences have allowed me to grow greatly as a professional. I have had the opportunity to train many teachers across the nation in GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design) strategies as well as ELD standards. Recently, I have been invited to participate in evaluating the bias and sensitivity aspects of the California English Language Development Test in Sacramento, California to ensure that the state test our English learners take is fair and unbiased.
It is my desire to see every student succeed. I am excited to work with my students and their families this year. I wish you the best this school year and school years to come.
