I'm originally from Visalia, California (located in Central California) I attended UC Davis majoring in Environmental Toxicology (Study of the Effect of Toxins on the Environment) with a minor in Entomology (Study of Insects). In 1998, I moved to the San Diego area to work as a Research Assistant for a Biotech Company in Vista. After 3 years in the laboratory I decided to become a teacher. This will be my tenth year teaching at GPA. My wife and I have a daughter named Lily, born in October 2009. Besides my family, my other interests are movies, music, and playing & watching soccer.
