Welcome to GPA Music!
In 7th Grade Music Class, we are continuing to study the History of Music,
including the musical genres of Blues, Jazz and Rock.
We will be ending the school year with a unit on beginning guitar.
Our essential question is:
How can playing an instrument help me communicate feelings or ideas?
We are exploring human ingenuity through composing, reading music, playing musical instruments and learning about various famous composers and musicians.
The Guajome Park Academy Choir
will be joining
the Drama Department
in the production of
"Beauty and the Beast"
on Friday and Saturday, May 18th and 19th at 7 pm
and Sunday, May 20th at 2 pm
in the GPA gym
